After two soggy weeks, forecasters expect a decrease in the number of showers next week. Today through most of the weekend (July 26-28) very moist air will continue to be funneled north across the Gulf Coast from Texas to Alabama due to a trough of lower pressure to the west. That means there is about an 80 percent that you will see one or more showers wherever you are in coastal Mississippi, Louisiana, or Alabama. And, they can occur day or night.
