Former Missouri City officer charged with manslaughter in deadly crash freed on bond

MISSOURI CITY, Texas – A former Missouri City police officer charged in a wreck that killed a mother and son is out on bond. Court records show Blademir Viveros had his bond lowered to $500 before his release. He’s facing charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he crashed into a family’s vehicle, killing two people inside on June 20. Viveros was relieved of duty days later.
