Former SMU running back LJ Johnson Jr. can’t make a set decision on his future. After leaving Dallas and committing to Rice last week, he’ll be heading to Cal, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Johnson was a big-time high school recruit coming out of Cypress, Texas. The four-star running back was an ESPN 300 prospect with several Power Four offers, including Georgia, Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan, and others. He was also the fifth-best back in the country.
