TMEIC Corporation Americas has announced plans to build a new manufacturing facility in Waller County, Texas. The company, which produces industrial power and automation systems, is investing in this expansion to support growing demand across data centers, oil and gas, and other infrastructure sectors, creating approximately 200 new jobs with plans to scale up to 500.
The facility will span 267,000 square feet on a 20-acre site and will be the company’s third manufacturing location in the U.S. and its 13th worldwide. It will focus on manufacturing uninterruptible power supplies and medium voltage drives, essential components for mission-critical applications. The site will also house a client training center and advanced technology development labs.
Sustainability will play a central role, with a clean energy system featuring photovoltaic panels and energy storage to reduce environmental impact. TMEIC will receive support for the project from the Texas Enterprise Fund and a local property tax abatement. Construction is expected to finish in May 2026, with production beginning in June 2026.
