HOUSTON — 1,000 active duty members of the U.S. military will be in Houston from November 5 to November 12 for a large celebration of the Armed Forces — or “Fleet Week.”
The Port of Houston turning basin is where some of the military ships could be docked during Fleet Week. At the Port, KHOU 11 News spoke with US Navy leaders about what the first-ever Fleet Week will look like in Houston.
