A new FuelMaxx convenience store and fueling center could soon rise along FM 359 in Brookshire, based on a recent state filing. The project is tentatively scheduled to break ground in December 2025 and wrap up by December 2026—but as always with early filings, dates and plans can shift.
A Quiet Stretch May Soon See a Big Change
The proposed FuelMaxx 124 is set for 6810 FM 359, just north of Sugarhill Drive and across from C&D Grocery. The site sits in a semi-rural pocket of Waller County that’s gradually drawing more commercial interest. According to satellite images, the lot appears undeveloped, with open land and residential homes nearby.
