Later in the week, things start to shift. A high-pressure ridge building in from the west will try to flex its muscles over Texas. It probably won’t dry us out completely, but it will lower our rain chances a bit for Thursday and Friday, and allow temperatures to climb a few degrees higher.
By the weekend, expect muggier conditions to return. Another bump in tropical moisture will creep back in, keeping us sticky and storm-prone during the late afternoon hours.
No major severe weather is expected, but heavy downpours, gusty winds, and brief street flooding are always possible with summertime storms.
