Fort Bend County to unveil remote command vehicle for hurricane prep

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Fort Bend County unveiled their new flood camera technology today, highlighting the county’s hurricane preparedness efforts.

Fort Bend County Judge KP George, along with the county’s emergency management, sheriff’s office, and commissioners, showcased the newly wrapped remote command center vehicle that will be used to track flooding.

With the remote command center vehicle, the county can now access flood status information in a given area and relay the information to citizens and the emergency management teams.
