Learn about “Plant Propagation” in a free program offered by Cinco Ranch Branch Library on Saturday, Aug. 9. The hour-long program will be presented by Fort Bend County Master Gardener Shelly Beck and will begin at 10:30 a.m. She will talk about the history of propagation, its methods: seeds, air layering, division, water culture and stem cuttings. She also will do a simple demonstration of several types of propagation. The library is located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd. in Katy.
