BEAUMONT, Texas — A 34-year-old Katy man was sentenced to four years in prison Monday for assaulting an emergency medical technician who was trying to provide him medical aid in Port Arthur last August.
Christopher Kirk Faulk, 34, of Katy, pleaded guilty to felony assault on a public servant before Jefferson County 252nd District Judge Raquel West, according to a news release from the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.
The assault happened in August 2024 when Faulk punched an EMS technician multiple times in the back of an ambulance, according to Port Arthur Police Department officers. The EMS worker was attempting to render medical aid to Faulk when he became belligerent and attacked the technician…
