So far this Hurricane season has been fairly quiet in the Gulf and for the State of Texas, but that could be starting to change as the waters continue to heat up and we get deeper into Hurricane season.
The National Hurricane Center Is Tracking a New Disturbance
According to the National Hurricane Center, a new area in the Gulf has popped up as a location where a tropical disturbance could occur. The new area is in the Southwestern Gulf and experts say there is about a 20% chance that it could develop into a tropical cyclone in the next few days.
