The body of what appeared to be an adult female was pulled from Brays Bayou late Thursday after storms swelled the waterway.
The Houston Police Department received a report after 7 p.m. of a body in the water along the bayou near West Houston Center Boulevard, Lt. Larry Crowson with HPD told OnScene TV Thursday night.

The rain brought a current to the bayou and witnesses reported a body floating just upstream of the boulevard, he said. Firefighters who staged ahead downstream, located the body near 4300 Belle Park in fast-moving water and brought it to dry ground…
