Storms, flooding, and a cold front could soak Texas this Labor Day weekend

Texans should think twice before making their way outside for Labor Day weekend – a round of storms, along with the threat of flooding, could make its way across the region.

As a cold front pushes into Southeast Texas, Houston will see increased chances of rain over Labor Day weekend.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service said the front should “eventually” make it to the Gulf, but it may not be until late Sunday evening or Monday morning – keeping rain chances high over the weekend…
