Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Inventec is preparing to establish a new U.S. presence in Katy, with work set to begin this fall on its first local facility. According to state and investor filings, the company has leased approximately 540,000 square feet of dry warehouse space at 23623 Colonial Parkway in Park 10 Ninety Nine, near Katy Asian Town.
Phase I Renovation Already Underway
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing shows that Inventec’s Phase I investment involves a $5 million renovation to convert 39,390 square feet of the leased space into an electronic component assembly facility.
