From humble beginnings in the cafeteria of Hubenak Elementary School in 2014, St Faustina Church, located off of FM 1093 in Fulshear, Texas, continues to be one of the fastest-growing parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Today, the parish is home to thousands of diversified families and offers a wide array of ministries, including grief support, healing prayer, counseling services, youth and family programs, and faith formation for all ages. They are now embarking on an exciting journey to build a new church.
Built on Mercy, Guided by Community
The new sanctuary, which broke ground in June 2025, is a bold and beautiful expression of the parish’s mission to build a community where the deep love and mercy of God is lived, experienced and shared. St. Faustina’s mission is inspired by its patron saint’s devotion to Divine Mercy. That spirit is reflected in every aspect of parish life—from Eucharistic Adoration, to outreach programs and feast day celebrations. According to their pastor, Father Dat Hoang, the new church will be “a reverent dwelling place for God, a meeting point between heaven and earth, a Center of Divine Mercy and a refuge for wounded souls.”…
