San Antonian, Texans claim lottery prizes with tickets from these Texas stores

The Powerball jackpot has risen to $1.7 billion for Saturday’s drawing — its third-highest prize ever — after someone in Houston won a $2 million prize from the lottery game in Wednesday’s drawing. Meanwhile someone in the Alamo City claimed a $1 million scratch lottery prize.

Another Texan claimed a million-dollar scratch lottery prize, too, and another Texan claimed a $1 million prize from Powerball.

  • The San Antonio resident claimed a $1 million prize from a Premier Play game ticket purchased at Mariposa Groceries, at 1438 W. Mariposa Drive in San Antonio.
  • Someone won a $2 million prize from Powerball with a ticket purchased at Barri, at 601 N. Cesar Chavez Blvd. in Houston.
  • A Graham resident claimed a $1 million prize from a Mega Jumbo Bucks game ticket purchased at United Supermarket, at 1229 Highway 16 S. in Graham.
  • A Pearland resident claimed a $1 million prize from a Powerball ticket purchased at Broadway Food Store, at 3602 Broadway St. in Houston.

Jackpots

  • For Powerball, the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $1.7 billion.
  • For Mega Millions, the estimated jackpot for Friday’s drawing is $336 million.
  • For Lotto Texas, the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $53.25 million.
