In what has become a tradition in the “Lone Star” state, over 60 Shluchim couples serving Texas, led by Head Shliach Rabbi Shimon and Rebbetzin Chiena Lazaroff, gathered with their families in Houston for the annual Texas Shluchim Farbrengen with 24 hours of farbrengens for men, women, and children.
In what has become a tradition in the “Lone Star” state, the over 60 Shluchim couples serving Texas – led by Head Shliach Rabbi Shimon and Rebbetzin Chiena Lazaroff – gathered with their families in Houston for the annual Texas Shluchim Farbrengen on Sunday. The event featured 24 hours of farbrengens for the men, a full parallel program for the Shluchos, and exciting activities for the young Shluchim.
Texas is home to more than 100,000 Jews, and for many of them, Chabad is the only place where they can connect to their Yiddishkeit. Although the Shluchim are spread across the vast state, some living as far as 12 hours apart, gatherings like this allow them to reconnect, share experiences and challenges, and strengthen the feeling that they are truly one family…
