Always thought big lifted trucks with monster wheels were just for show… turns out I finally found out their purpose today. The rascal driving the blue monster truck in the video at the bottom of this article was growing a little impatient, it seems, as he was stuck behind a slow-moving car in the left lane of a farm-to-market road close to Houston, Texas.
I get the frustration. That lane is for passing only; it clearly states that on signs positioned every few miles on Texas roads, but some folks act like it’s their own personal HOV lane. So I get it, buddy. If I had that truck, I might have attempted the same maneuver.

But as he tries to pass, all sorts of debris can be seen kicking up out from underneath his truck. It looks as if there are car parts hidden all along the highway shoulder, hidden under the grass. After a few moments, he moves back into the lane, unable to pass the slow-moving car in front of him.
