A simple stop at the gas station is fueling more than cars this fall—it’s fueling hope. Shell has brought back The Giving Pump for its fifth year, a nationwide initiative that turns everyday fill-ups into donations for local charities supporting children and families.
From now through October 31, 2025, drivers can look for the specially marked purple Giving Pump at participating Shell stations. When customers choose to fuel up at that pump, Shell branded wholesalers and station owners contribute directly to local charities—at no extra cost to consumers.
This year’s campaign has expanded to nearly 6,500 Shell stations nationwide, up from 2,900 when the initiative first launched in 2021. The reach now includes 400 local and national organizations, ranging from children’s hospitals and youth programs to food pantries and leadership development groups…
