Fort Bend sheriff’s office latest law enforcement agency seeking pay raises for deputies

After scores of agencies across the Houston region have followed Houston’s lead and asked for higher salaries for law enforcement officers, Fort Bend has become the latest to seek increases with calls for pay raises of more than 7%.

Sheriff Eric Fagan this month went public with a request to raise his deputies’ salaries to keep up with escalating public safety budgets across the region.
