The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office and local law enforcement are running a “No Refusal” operation this weekend with the opening of the Fort Bend County Fair. Law enforcement will be looking for drivers who are impaired by alcohol or other substances.
Friday and Saturday night, attorneys from the District Attorney’s Office will be present to draft search warrants for local judges to authorize blood draws from drivers who have demonstrated evidence of their intoxication. Medical personnel will also be on hand to draw blood once a warrant is obtained.
