Houston-area suburb could soon see a massive new hotel and convention project

ROSENBERG, Texas — Two years after opening the Fort Bend County EpiCenter, county officials are moving forward with plans to expand the complex into a regional destination.

At the Rosenberg City Council Workshop Meeting on Wednesday, leaders presented the Fort Bend County EpiCenter Hotel and Convention Center Project. The proposal calls for a 254-room full-service hotel, a 70,000-square-foot convention center, and two parking garages with more than 2,600 spaces combined. The west garage would include 1,527 spaces, while the east garage would add 1,087 spaces.
