George Bush High School Student Accused of Aggravated Assault in Fort Bend County Library Screwdriver Attack

A student from George Bush High School is in custody following an incident that left another student injured, according to officials. Fort Bend ISD reports that 17-year-old Alvin Cluff is accused of assaulting a fellow student with screwdrivers in the school’s library last month.

Court records from Fort Bend County show that Cluff had previously assaulted the same student six days earlier. On September 18, district police responded to a report of a physical altercation in the library. According to abc13, an officer arrived to find a student with visible injuries leaving the library with school staff. The student told the officer that Cluff had ambushed him in the library.

During the police response, Cluff was described as agitated and was handcuffed after resisting arrest. A search of his person revealed two screwdrivers and cans of pepper spray. CW39 reports that Cluff admitted to using the screwdrivers in the attack…
