The Waller County Sheriff’s Office said all eastbound lanes of U.S. Route 290 near FM 362 were blocked due to a rolled-over 18-wheeler, which also caused a gas leak.
Around 3:20 p.m., the sheriff’s office took to Facebook to tell travelers to expect lengthy traffic delays and to encourage them to use alternate routes as a hazmat crew responded to the scene.
