Round One is behind us, but we’re not quite done yet. Another round of severe storms could develop later this evening, heading towards Houston tonight. That said, forecasters are keeping a close eye on how the severe weather will show up with Round Two.
What’s ahead for Saturday day
We’ve had a few light to moderate showers lingering behind this morning’s storms, but the main line is long gone. A few quick downpours are possible through the morning, but most of the day will stay quiet in the early afternoon.
Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s and near 80, and a little sunshine could actually re-energize the atmosphere just enough to give tonight’s storms a bit more punch.
