Fwd: Fort Bend County authorities recover $700,000 in stolen Dell servers

RICHMOND, Texas — The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office has seized 20 pallets of stolen Dell servers valued at approximately $700,000 from a storage facility in Richmond, Texas. This operation was a collaborative effort involving Arizona law enforcement and the FBCSO Burglary and Theft Unit.

The servers were initially stolen on September 23, 2025, during a cargo theft incident in Chandler, Arizona, and were reported to the Chandler Police Department. The shipment, consisting of 122 palletized servers purchased from a Dallas-based company, was intercepted through fraudulent means, according to the press release.

On October 16, 2025, the Chandler Police Department contacted the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office after identifying online listings offering the stolen servers for sale.
