Fort Bend County investigators identify ‘vehicle of interest’ in apparent road rage shooting of US Army veteran and father of 5

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas — More than four months after an Army veteran was gunned down while driving in Fort Bend County, investigators have released a photo of a “vehicle of interest.”

Family members told KHOU 11 that Roy Ferrer was on his way to meet a friend around noon on Saturday, June 21, when someone shot him on Highway 6 near West Bellfort Avenue. Ferrer was found dead from a single gunshot wound after his crashed Toyota Camry was found in a ditch.
