WALLER, Texas — Miguel Chan, indicted in 2009 for multiple charges of child sexual assault, is believed to be evading authorities in Mexico.
Chan, who admitted to the allegations in a written statement, has been on the run since being released on bond in July 2009.
Chan was indicted by a Waller County Grand Jury on April 23, 2009, on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child. He was initially taken into custody on February 25, 2009, and released on bond on July 30, 2009.
