Halloween is almost here, and Airbnb is making sure ghouls and goblins don’t turn its listings into party spots.
For the fifth consecutive year, Airbnb said it is rolling out its anti-party technology across the U.S., scanning bookings for potential party risks. Factors include reservation length, the guest location, property type, booking timing and last-minute requests. High-risk booking attempts are blocked and guests will have the option to pick alternative accommodations where a host is more likely to be there.
“We lead the way in proactive measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized parties, and our heightened technology for Halloween is one important layer in a comprehensive suite of policies and tools to support hosts, guests and local communities, and promote responsible travel,” Airbnb said in its press release…
