Police seek ‘vehicle of interest’ in Sugar Land road rage shooting

Detectives in Fort Bend County are urgently searching for a gray Nissan Sentra believed to be connected to a deadly road rage shooting that claimed a man’s life in Sugar Land earlier this year.

On June 21 around 11:51 a.m., deputies responded to reports of a vehicle that had left the roadway and crashed into a ditch along the southbound lanes of Highway 6.

Upon arrival, they found the driver, 43-year-old Roy Ferrer, deceased from a single gunshot wound to the head. Authorities believe the incident may have stemmed from a road rage confrontation…
