Bears—in the form of a special edition cup—descended upon Starbucks locations, wreaking havoc as coffee fiends scrambled to get their collectible fix. In Houston, local police had to get involved after an all-out bear brawl took place in a store.
Last month, the coffee chain announced that its line of holiday merch was dropping Nov. 6, featuring special edition tumblers, ornaments, mugs and a “Glass Starbucks Bearista® Cold Cup”—a bear-shaped glass cup with a straw and a festive green beanie.
