Sugar Land Field of Honor plants 2,025 flags to honor Fort Bend heroes

A sea of red, white, and blue is once again taking shape along the Brazos River. The third annual Field of Honor® at the University of Houston–Sugar Land celebrates the many heroes of Fort Bend County — from military service members and veterans to first responders, teachers, coaches, clergy, and the personal heroes who make a difference in our daily lives.

This year’s display features 2,025 American flags, filling an acre of land in a breathtaking tribute to courage, service, and community spirit.

The Field of Honor® is open to the public Sunday through Tuesday, ending on Veterans Day, inviting everyone to walk among the flags, reflect, and honor the heroes who inspire us all…
