A 23-year-old Texas man received a 40-year prison sentence for the savage killing and beheading of his newlywed wife.
Jared James Dicus confessed to murdering his 21-year-old spouse, Anggy Diaz, in January 2023. According to the Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Dicus’ parents placed an emergency call around 4:35 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2023, reporting a potential fatality at their residence.
