Chilly start
Bundle up this morning! We are starting off cold across Southeast Texas after the system that moved through yesterday. Most spots dropped into the upper 30s overnight, and a few locations in the Piney Woods were near freezing. On top of that, we have wind chills near freezing around sunrise!
This afternoon stays cool with highs in the low to mid 50s. The good news is that skies turn mostly sunny and winds relax during the afternoon.
Skies stay clear and winds stay light tonight, which means another cold one. Most of the area falls back into the upper 30s to lower 40s. A few northern counties may dip into the mid 30s again.
