American Airlines adds Texas routes for 2026 World Cup

American Airlines is acting on its title as the official North American carrier of the 2026 World Cup, in which Houston and Dallas will host multiple matches.

This week, American announced more flight options and perks for members in preparation for the tournament. The Fort Worth airline plans to launch more flights between Boston and Dallas-Fort Worth, along with additional Los Angeles and Seattle flights, plus nonstop service between Atlanta and Kansas City during the quarterfinal round.

On the Boston-DFW route, travelers will find more flights between June 18 and July 11. The flights will also be upgauged, meaning an increased capacity. American will also offer more flights between DFW and San Jose, California, from June 17 to June 27…
