The Blinn College District Board of Trustees has approved a guaranteed maximum price of $68 million for the first academic building at the new Blinn-Waller Campus. The board made this decision at its meeting on December 4, 2025. The project is part of Blinn’s expansion in Waller and the northwest Houston area.
The new academic building will be three stories and 82,000 square feet. It will include classrooms, laboratories, student support areas, and administrative offices. The building is intended to support future campus development. The project aims to meet increased demand for higher education and workforce training. Local population is projected to grow from 851,109 in 2024 to over 1 million by 2034.
