A train and an 18-wheeler collided at U.S. 290 near CypressMonday, closing multiple major roads along the railroad track including FM 1960, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The train struck the back of the 18-wheeler trailer in the area of North Berwick Drive, but no injuries were reported, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. The crash shut down Huffmeister Road, Farm to Market Road 1960 and North Berwick Drive at U.S. 290, he said.
