RICHMOND, Texas — If you’re planning to drive on I-69 Southwest Freeway in Fort Bend County next weekend, you might want to find another route. The Texas Department of Transportation is closing multiple lanes in both directions for three days starting the evening of Friday, Dec. 19, and drivers should expect some serious delays.
TxDOT crews will shut down two southbound mainlanes and three northbound mainlanes on I-69 from University Boulevard to Greatwood Parkway beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, through 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22.
