Near-record warmth continues

Warm and humid across Southeast Texas today. Skies start mostly cloudy, with areas of dense fog extending north to I-10. Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s once again, running 10 to 25 degrees above normal.

In Houston, the record high for today is 82 degrees, set in 2021.

Any rain?

No real rain chances for inland communities. Rain chances remain around 10 to 20 percent as the cold front arrives, but widespread or heavy rainfall is not expected.

Rain chances are higher along the coast during the evening and overnight hours. Galveston has a 40 percent chance of rain.
