New Landry’s Kitchen Brand Expands to Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, Texas – (Realty News Report) – A new Landry’s Kitchen restaurant offering Southern and coastal fare at affordable prices could soon be headed to Sugar Land.

Landry’s Kitchen, a Landry’s Inc. concept that made its debut in Corpus Christi in May, will take over the Brick House Tavern + Tap location at 19740 S. Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Both of the brands, along with the neighboring Saltgrass Steak House, are part of Landry’s Inc., the privately-held company owned by Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta, who recently was appointed as U.S. Ambassador to Italy.

The 7,626-SF conversion and remodel of Brick House Tavern + Tap is expected to begin in February and wrap up in May 2026, according to the TDLR filing, which is subject to change.
