Amiri Barnes, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound defensive back from Katy, Texas, Cy Lakes High School in the 2026 class, has committed to Iowa State. Barnes is the No. 166-ranked cornerback in the country and the No. 261-ranked player in Texas’ 2026 recruiting class. In the 247Sports Composite, Barnes is the No. 1,722-ranked player in the country.
