A Cypress man was arrested late Thursday on a felony intoxication charge following a traffic stop on U.S. 290 East, according to information provided by Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jackie Watson.
Deputy Watson said the incident occurred at about 10:05 p.m., when Deputy Holton conducted a traffic stop in the 5300 block of U.S. 290 East for an alleged unsafe lane change. The driver, identified as Derrick Chad Stepan, 53, of Cypress, allegedly displayed signs of intoxication.
