Sugar Land Dive Center has announced the launch of its split IDC program conducted between Texas and Cozumel.
The program is aimed at PADI dive shops seeking a reliable partner to complete instructor training. It provides a referral fee as well as instruction led by PADI Course Director Phillip Hetherington, and supports multiple IDC formats to suit different needs.
While the PADI syllabus remains consistent worldwide, Sugar Land Dive Center differentiates itself through the following teaching principles:
- Small coaching groups for more hands-on practice.
- Clear feedback using simple scoring and defined next steps.
- Two practical locations: Cozumel for warm, clear-water destination training; Texas for realistic, freshwater conditions that candidates will often teach in.
- Flexible delivery: Scheduled, On Demand, Split IDCs, full destination IDCs, and crossover pathways.
