RICHMOND, Texas — Fort Bend County officials activated the Emergency Operations Center to Level 3 on Tuesday as freezing temperatures are expected later this week and a Winter Storm Watch covers most of Texas.
The activation increases readiness and coordination efforts across county departments and partner agencies as uncertainty remains about the timing and type of potential winter precipitation, according to a county announcement.
