HOUSTON, Texas — A driver was arrested for racing on a highway after deputies observed a Shelby Cobra and Tesla speeding on the Katy Freeway.
Toll Road deputies from Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office witnessed the vehicles lined up at a red light at the intersection of Katy Freeway and Wilcrest Road. Once the light turned green, both cars accelerated rapidly in an attempt to outpace each other, according to a press release from the office.
