HOUSTON (CW39) — NRG Energy plans to build a new natural gas power plant in east Harris County that would help the energy infrastructure in Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott said.
The new 455-megawatt natural gas facility has a capital investment of $617 million and is expected to begin generating power in 2028.
