The southbound mainlanes and southbound frontage road will stay open throughout phase III, but the northbound frontage road will be closed for the duration of that phase.

The $53 million project aims to extend the I-69 mainlane and frontage road bridges both northbound and southbound by roughly 1,000 feet to the north. TxDOT says the work will address erosion issues and improve traffic flow and safety along the corridor when it wraps up in late 2027…
