CINCO RANCH, Texas — Drivers in the Katy area are being warned about a road closure after officials discovered a large underground void beneath a major intersection.
According to the Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, crews found a large void under the northwest corner of Westheimer Parkway and South Mason Road.
Because of the discovery, southbound Mason Road and westbound Westheimer Parkway are closed while crews work to repair the area. Officials have not said how long the closure will last. The agency said the intersection will remain shut down until repairs are completed…
