RICHMOND, Texas (CW39) -Testimony resumed Monday in the felony money laundering trial of Fort Bend County Judge KP George, with prosecutors calling what could be one of their final witnesses before closing arguments.
At 9:10 a.m., a fraud investigator with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office spent hours walking jurors through financial records tied to George’s personal, joint and campaign bank accounts.

The investigator testified she first became aware of George in September 2024 after seeing news coverage involving earlier allegations connected to the county judge. That prompted her to conduct an unofficial review of public property records using the county’s website.
