The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office’s investigation of a fatal crash that occurred Sunday morning on U.S. Route 90 between Harlem Road and Pitts Road is continuing.
At approximately 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, deputies responded to reports of a major two-vehicle crash, according to a news release from the office. Upon arrival, three individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of a truck involved in the crash and two passengers from the other vehicle were transported to a local hospital with injuries. As of the Fort Bend Star’s print deadline on Monday, the driver of the truck was listed in serious but stable condition. A deputy is stationed at the hospital while investigators continue working with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, and charges are expected to be filed.
